PTES Company Trip - Anyer Beach

1st Day

“Step up, you can make a difference!” is a theme for PT Elabram System’s company trip this year. The fun-filled trip was held for 2 days 1 night in Anyer Beach, which is 4 hours drive from Jakarta city.

We warmed up by having some Ice Breaking games; making melody and aborigine.

Soon after that, all group members have been divided into 4 teams. Each team members has to performed “yell-yell” and “human machine”. Apart from that, we also played egg drop, touch name concentration, moving ball, hola-hoop, water transfer, blind-mute-deaf and Alcatraz games.

The activities and the excitement continues with banana boat rides, water polo and some, just chilling themselves while enjoying the beautiful panoramic of the sea.

Sun has set and the days are getting darker.

We have to put a full stop for all the activities and prepared ourselves for Rewards and Recognition Night.

After a savoring dinner, it is now the time to witness all the shining stars being awarded for their hard work, extra mile and performances.

To initiates, Mr Andree Gavin and Mr Joe Yohannes have been invited to come forward for the speeches.

Mr Mikel and Mr Sunny have also grabbed the opportunity to stress out the importance of teamwork in one organization.

The first award receiver for the night goes to Wita and Iparda from Operation Department.  As seen, Mr Gavin presented the certificates to both of them.

Company Trip to Pangkor Island 2012

A company trip to Pangkor Island recently was absolutely a fantastic experienced.

I also would like to take this opportunity to recommend Pangkor Island to friends and family as it was simply relaxing and perfect for those who would like to rejuvenate and chill themselves out from hectic life.

To those who weren’t able to join us on that trip, I hope you will enjoy this blog and I m sure all of you are keen to know what exactly we did there during our 3D2N trip…

Let’s roll the camera on to an enjoyable short chronological story from us during our trip to the beautiful island.

Getting to Pangkor on 17th Nov
We started our journey as early as 7.30 in the morning. A journey to Pangkor Island took about 3 hours drive by bus from Kuala Lumpur.

10:30 am - Exit Bidor highway and continue our journey. The road condition here is quite decent, cuts across cool and scenic oil palm plantations.

12:10 – 1.20pm - We stopped at Kampung Cina Seafood Restaurant for a group Lunch before continues our journey to Lumut. The food was delicious and cheap too!

2:00pm: Arrived at Lumut Jetty. The ferry ride from Lumut Jetty to the island took about 30 minutes.

We really enjoyed the strong wind and the open sea panorama. Getting on to the open deck ferry will always be the right choice. Let’s see why…

2:30 pm - Arrived at Pangkor Island Jetty

We hopped on to a mini bus which drove us straight to the Pangkor Island Beach Resort (PIBR).

The eye-soothing view of the greenery along the way to the resort had made us felt so tranquil and relaxing. Seems like it is going to be a “heaven” in here J

The superb staffs had even made us felt so welcome. Not only us but all of the visitors who arrived at PIBR will be amazed with the services here.

We were greeted by a group of singers, Mr Panda and a welcome drinks to quench our thirst.

Without much delayed, we gathered ourselves at Hotel Lounge for the 10 minutes Safety Briefing followed by luggage collection and checked in to our designated room.

Even though the rooms looked a little bit older but overall it was clean, cozy and well maintained by the resort.

3:30pm – 6:00pm - We have only few hours more for the most anticipated night, therefore it’s time to get ourselves a nap, refreshed and getting ready for it.

R &R Night – Theme : Masquerade & Men In Black

This year we have chosen “Masquerade” & “Men In Black” as our Rewards & Recognition Night’s theme and the tagline is “Life begins when you believe in change”.

Registration and photo shooting session started as early as 5.30pm.

All of the staffs dressed elegantly in their gowns and suits with glittering masks and shining black spectacles as compulsory accessories on that night.

The ballroom decoration was simple, classy and elegant J

Without further ado, committee members kicked off the night by welcoming all the ESSB Staff to “Masquerade Night 2012” with a big round of applause from everyone of us.

Lets have a look on what we have got for you during the night.

Row of energetic emcees for the night
As seen, Mr Mikel and Mr Azrin have been invited to come forward for the opening speeches.

Mr Mikel thanked all the HODs who has been supporting him and not forgotten to all of ESSB staffs as whole.

Around 9:00pm – It’s the time to enjoy our mouth watering Buffet Style Dinner.

While enjoying the food, we have been announced with the next most important agenda of the night, that was Rewards and Recognition session.

It was time to give a salutation to all dedicated staffs. Instant cheering from the crowds in the hall on that night had even made the session become more excited.

And the award goes to ….

Congratulations to all of the awards receiver and keep the good momentum up!

I also would like to congratulates Promt Queen and King and all the rest of lucky draw winners on that night in bringing home fantastic prizes!

Day 2 on 18th Dec 2012

Around 10:00 am:  We had our first day breakfast here in Hornbill Restaurant.
As soon as we’ve done with our morning breakfast, we proceed to the beach side for the games and activity.

Ang pows were hidden randomly all over under the sands and it will be our duties to dig for the keywords.

It was indeed looks simple, however it required us to use maximum energy that we had for the sand digging.

In the other words, we have to go all out for the game!

With all the keywords collected, we were now ready to build our sand castle and here is the results.

Winner for Sand Castle Building competition goes to Team 3 and the runner up goes to Team 4

They received hampers filled with all sorts of goodies which they shared amongst themselves.
In the evening, we hanging out in a team and took part in beach volleyball & futsal.

Others with pool volleyball, chilling around enjoying the view and the sea breezes and for myself, I’m waiting for the most scenic view from the sea that was “sunset time”.

Enjoy some of the photos taken J

Day 3 on 19th Dec

9:30-11:30 – Today will be our last day on the Island. We had our breakfast and make full use of the remaining hours in the island to snap some photos.

Some shots with the Hornbills, around the island and hotel facilities.

Around 12:00pm, we assemble ourselves at the Lobby for departure to Jetty.

The journey by boat from island to Jetty took about 30 minutes.

Even though we felt the tiredness after we left the resort but deep in our heart, it will be a memory that shall not be forgotten.

We had spent a great time together as a team therefore very much looking forward to create another history again next year

See you..
