On September 23 to 24, 2014, PTES team in Indonesia attended the 2014 Asia Pacific Outsourcing Summit at Mandarin Orchard Singapore with the theme "Enhancing Sustained Value for Regional Integration." The event was to hel our team to learn more about the current situation and updates with regards to outsourcing in Asia Pacific and globally.
Speaking as a CEO of International Association of
Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) – Debi Hamill, she said in his opening
speech that the participants should take full advantage of all this Summit has
to offer and join the dialoque as we build on last year’s event and set the
stage for years to come. We must learn from our tought leaders as they share
their experience and address new and cutting edge topics that are top-of-mind
for all of us in the industry, and share your best practices, as well as the
challenges, with out colleagues during networking opportunities throughout the
event.
And as Chairman Outsourcing Malaysia – David Wong
also as the organizer of this event, he was saying that the summit continues to
focus on regional integration specifically themed “ Enhancing Sustained
Value for Regional Integration” which highlights the importance of cross
border collaborations and partnerships. Then he said that in 2015 we sill see
the Asean Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) opening the gates of trade across the
region, and such, ensuring sustained value to accelerate economic growth is
vital. This liberalisation process creates competitiveness in the global arena
and consumers are now able to source goods and services form producers and
service providers from ASEAN. There is an imminent need for the sourcing
providers in this region to rise to the occasion in enhancing value creation to
their customers as the competitivity stiffens. It’s no longer a matter of cost
savings, but rather, the delivery of best value sourcing deals.
He would like to take this opportunity to wish all delegates
and sponsors for making this event a success and wish you all a fruitful
conference.
